(ANRV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal of ANRV, Inc. is to increase access to veterinary public health care to underserved tribal communities. The main reason we started a nonprofit is because many isolated\/remote communities with high numbers of strays live in fear of dog bites to children and rabies exposure. His contributions to animal health, scientific advancement, and the well-being of rural Alaska are widely recognized and deeply respected. ANRV, Inc. strives to have the most current medical protocols and modern equipment available, and Dr. Reynolds keeps us up to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Board Members<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Board members, Victor Lord, Nelson Angapak (newly retired vice President of Alaska Federation of Natives), Rod Phillip, Carl Jerue, and Angie Fitch are born and raised in Alaska. Other board members include Dr. Tim Hunt, Dr. Page Wages and Brian Lefferts with Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Veterinary Team<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Cort Zachel has practiced veterinary medicine in Fairbanks for nearly 40 years and serves as one of the primary veterinarians on our traveling team.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tribal Advisors<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tribal Advisors \u2014 Karissa Carroll McCarty of Fort Yukon\/Ruby, Clarence Saccheus of Elim, Mike Williams Sr., Tribal Chief of Akiak, Donald Charlie, 1st Chief of Nenana, and Bessi Sinook of Shishmaref \u2014 are all lifelong Alaskans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tribal Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hazel Garr of the Montana Creek Tribe has been with our organization since 2015 and has been instrumental in the sustainability and growth of our program.
